Flag Ceremony

Our 2nd Trimester Flag Ceremony took place on Friday, March 23rd. Students were recognized for various accomplishments including art contests, speech contests, and for being the two outstanding 6th graders. We also honored Mrs. Henderson, our teacher of the year.

Color Run

On March 23rd, Emery School had its first Color Run. Students, staff and parents enjoyed this thrilling fundraiser while also getting a little exercise. Thank you to everyone that participated!

College and Career Bound

Some third graders shared their classwork with Principal Linnecke. Their assignments demonstrate how they are becoming college and career ready. They talked about the importance of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, following directions, and trying their best. Ms. Linnecke will display their work in her office for the next few weeks.

Fifth graders at Charles G. Emery School are becoming College and Career Ready! Today they shared their outstanding work with Principal Linnecke. These projects will be displayed on her office wall for the next few weeks. Great job 5th graders!

Rolling Skating Night

On Friday, October 6th, students, families and faculty from Charles G. Emery Elementary School participated in a Family Skate Night at Holiday Skate Center in Orange. Thank you to Mrs. Ortega for organizing this. A great time was had by all!

Becoming College and Career Ready

Some 6th grade students are sharing their outstanding work with Principal Linnecke. They discussed how they are becoming college and career ready even in 6th grade. Their work will be displayed the the principal's office.

ELAC Meeting

Our first ELAC meeting for this year was held on Thursday, September 7th. Principal Linnecke reviewed the purpose and responsibilities of this committee. We hope to see more parents at the next meeting.
